On-board Display Boards (LED)

A bus may have up to four display boards mounted inside to display the upcoming Bus Stop & other relevant information. These LED Displays are located at:

• Front Display Board
• Rear Display Board
• Side Display Board and
• Internal Display Board

The display board displays messages in various modes including fixed, scroll and alternate mode. They receive display messages and commands from the Controller unit through RS485 serial port windows based software package as per A15052. The controller sends the message to be displayed to the respective display board along with the suitable command for displaying the message. The Display Board keeps on displaying the given messages as per the defined display format and pattern.
